Arkor Company was founded in England in 1920 by Mr. Arcolani.
In response to the increased consumer demand due to the post-war economic recovery, Arcor perfected the manufacturing technology of the Windsor chair, which is curved with steam, and succeeded in mass-producing the traditional British Windsor chair. After that, the name "Windsor Chair" grew to become synonymous with Arkor.
Furthermore, at the time, due to the difficulty of processing it, many furniture makers thought it would be impossible to use elm wood as a furniture material. His achievements were admired by many.
